Paul M. Darden, Immunization
Delivery
Paul M. Darden, MD, is professor of pediatrics
at the Medical University of South Carolina where he also has a
joint appointment in the department of biometry and epidemiology.
Dr. Darden is a past president of the Ambulatory Pediatric Association,
an editorial board member of Ambulatory Pediatrics, and
a reviewer for numerous professional journals. Among his five ongoing
research projects are two funded by the Centers for Disease Control
and Prevention to address issues of immunization delivery. Dr. Darden
is widely published in the professional literature, most frequently
in the areas of pediatric epidemiology, immunization delivery, and
health care services.
Dr. Darden received his MD at the University of Texas Southwestern
Medical School and completed his residency at the Children’s
Medical Center in Dallas. He has held fellowships at McGill University
in Montreal and at the University of North Carolina.
