Judith S. Palfrey,
Health Services: Past, Present, and Future

Judith S. Palfrey, MD, is chief of the Division of General Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital, Boston, and the T. Berry Brazelton Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Palfrey is the director of the National Program Office for the Dyson Foundation’s Community Pediatrics Training Initiative. Among her many professional activities, she has served as the pediatric coordinator of the Brookline Early Education Project in Brookline, MA, and she developed and directed Project School Care to facilitate transitions from hospital to school for medical technology-dependent children. She is the author of Community Child Health: An Action Plan for Today and many articles and book chapters.
