Jaia Peterson,
Grandparents Raising Children

Jaia Peterson, MS, is the public policy director at Generations United. Her work includes advising Congress on intergenerational issues, coordinating the GU Public Policy Committee, and editing the GU newsletter, Together. Peterson received a masters degree in social work from Syracuse University and has worked in child protective services, refugee resettlement, and many other capacities with individuals and families from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
