Thomas N. Robinson, Children and Media
Thomas N. Robinson, MD, MPH, is an associate professor
of pediatrics and medicine in the Division of General Pediatrics
and the Stanford Prevention Research Center at Stanford University
School of Medicine. His research focuses on the development and
evaluation of health promotion and disease prevention interventions
for children and adolescents, and he is principal investigator on
numerous studies. Dr. Robinson also practices general pediatrics
and directs the Pediatric Weight Control Program at Lucile Packard
Children’s Hospital. Dr. Robinson received his BS and MD from
Stanford University and his MPH from the University of California,
Berkeley. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics
at Children’s Hospital in Boston and Harvard Medical School
and returned to Stanford for postdoctoral training before joining
the faculty in 1993.
