Michael Weitzman, Tobacco and Health

Michael Weitzman, MD, currently is executive director of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Center for Child Health Research and professor and associate chairman of pediatrics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, where he was formerly director of the Division of General Pediatrics and pediatrician-in-chief at Rochester General Hospital. Prior to that, he was director of maternal and child health for the City of Boston and director of general pediatrics and the fellowship training program in academic general pediatrics at Boston City Hospital and Boston University School of Medicine. He has published over 150 original articles, chapters, books, and abstracts of scholarly work, and he is coeditor of two pediatric textbooks.
