CATCH Planning Funds Program

2009 CALL FOR PROPOSALS

Applications are due by 4:00 pm CDT, July 31, 2008
Only online submissions will be accepted

CATCH GRANTS NOW AVAILABLE IN AMOUNTS UP TO $12,000

The Community Access To Child Health (CATCH) Planning Funds program provides grants in amounts from $2,500 to $12,000 for pediatricians to develop innovative, community-based initiatives that increase children's access to medical homes or to specific health services not otherwise available. Planning project activities must lead to sustainable, community-based child health initiatives that increase access to care, especially for underserved children, and address health disparities among children. Resident CATCH grants also are available but are limited to a maximum of $3,000 (please see CATCH Resident Funds for more information).

Contact your Chapter CATCH Facilitator to discuss your ideas for a CATCH grant project and to obtain assistance with proposal development. Click here for contact information.

CATCH staff also is available to assist you. Contact your CATCH Program Coordinator, at catch@aap.org.

CATCH would like to show you how easy it is to get assistance with proposal development. Please send a brief paragraph describing the idea for your project to catch@aap.org, and you will receive help from your Chapter CATCH Facilitator and/or CATCH staff. Please send this information no later than July 1, 2008.

The CATCH Planning Funds program is administered by the AAP CATCH Program and is supported by a grant from Wyeth, with additional support from individual donations through the AAP Friends of Children Fund.
