The PA Chapter Healthy Child Care Pennsylvania (ECELS) program has developed an Oral Health Self Learning Module that child (day) care providers can complete for credit towards their licensing requirements. There are also oral health videos in the AV catalog that child care providers can borrow to educate staff and parents about oral health issues.

The PA Chapter medical home program (EPIC IC) has put together a list of pediatric dentists across the state and is researching each site to determine who sees children with special health care needs and who takes Medicaid or one of the Medicaid HMO's. This information will be provided to pediatric practices and parent groups in Pennsylvania.

The PA Chapter child abuse education program (EPIC-SCAN) provided a presentation for Pennsylvania's Prevent Abuse and Neglect through Dental Awareness (PA P.A.N.D.A.) program and provides ongoing information to dental associations about the identification and reporting of abuse.
