Protecting All Children's Teeth
(PACT): A Pediatric Oral Health Training Program aims to educate pediatricians,
pediatricians in training,
and others
interested in infant, child, and adolescent health about
the important
role
that oral health plays in the overall health of patients.
The goal of this curriculum is not to train pediatricians
to become dentists, but to become
more knowledgeable about child oral health, more competent in providing
oral health
guidance and preventive care, and more comfortable sharing
the
responsibility of oral health
with dental colleagues.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for
Continuing
Medical Education
to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The
AAP
designates
this educational
activity for a maximum
of

Physicians should only claim
credit commensurate
with the extent
of
