Our Residents Need Your Support!!!

Resident Travel Grants
$120,000 educational grant

Our Residents are the future of Pediatrics and your support is crucial. The Resident Travel Grant Program provides one travel grant in the amount of $500 to each pediatric program that wishes to send a resident to the AAP National Conference and Exhibition (NCE). In July, the Academy sends out letters to all Pediatric Program Directors announcing the program. The Sponsor also has the opportunity to distribute copies of the announcement. Additionally, an announcement is sent to all resident members of the AAP (9,400) and is posted on the AAP Website. Approximately 175 grants are awarded annually to residents selected to attend the NCE.

In addition to recognition on all program announcements, the sponsor will receive recognition in the Resident Report, the AAP Resident Section Newsletter mailed to 9,400 pediatric residents; Chapter Connections; an AAP News ad; the official NCE Program; on-site signage in high traffic areas at the NCE; signs at the resident program; and the daily conference newspaper.
