The Council on Community Pediatrics (COCP) promotes community pediatrics through policy, practice, and education.About Community Pediatrics
pediatrics is the practice of promoting and integrating the positive
social, cultural, and environmental influences on children’s health as
well as addressing potential negative effects that deter optimal child
health and development within a community.Executive Committee & Leadership
The COCP is led by an elected Executive Committee
and appointed Special Interest Group Chairs and Liaisons. COCP leaders
oversee all Council initiatives, including the development of policy,
education, and general member activities.
