Upcoming Events
Friday, October 25: Innovations in Obesity Prevention, Assessment and Treatment Forum - focus on innovative systematic approaches to prevent, assess, and treat pediatric obesity at the point of care that demonstrate promising or proven results. Special consideration will be given to those abstracts that reflect AAP Chapter programs and/or Chapter involvement. Areas of emphasis include: improving quality of obesity care, increasing physician knowledge, enhancing multidisciplinary care, improving access to care, new technologies, and patient and family communication and engagement.
Monday, October 28: Provisional Section on Obesity H Program - focus on community-based approaches and interventions to prevent and treat pediatric obesity. Special consideration will be given to abstracts submitted by physicians in training at any level.
