The work of the Department
of Membership is accomplished through the services and programs developed and
provided to AAP Members by four specific divisions:
The multitude of programs
and services that are developed by the Department are based on the regular
evaluation of member needs and the continuous
study of the changing
demography of membership.
Primary Areas of Focus:
- Serves
as a reference for interpretation and revision of the Academy's Constitution
and Bylaws governing membership
- Manages
the Member Benefit Affinity Programs
which provides discounts on personal and professional services and benefits
- Directs
strategic planning sessions for
the Academy and it’s sections, councils, committees and chapters
- Conducts
various member surveys to stay abreast of critical issues facing Academy members
