Programs
The Community Access to Child Health (CATCH) funding has supported more than 20 health literacy promotion programs in pediatric practices throughout the country. Visit the Community Pediatrics Grant Projects Database to view previously funded projects (enter 'health literacy' in the topic search box).
For information about the CATCH program, contact your local AAP CATCH facilitator or contact the CATCH Program at 847/434-7085 or catch@aap.org for referrals to other pediatricians interested in health literacy issues.
There may be other pediatricians in your state addressing literacy
issues that may be a valuable resource in setting up or enhancing your
own program.
