The AAP provides resources and information on the funding of graduate medical education, the regulation of the physician workforce through state and federal legislation and appropriations, the scope of practice of non-physicians, the diversity of the physician and patient populations, the pediatric medical subspecialty and surgical specialty workforce, and physician reentry into practice.
