The Alvin H. Jacobs Award recognizes outstanding lifetime contribution in the field of pediatric dermatology and is selected by the Executive Committee. The award is presented at the Society for Pediatric Dermatology annual meeting in July.
The AAP Section on Dermatology offers a $1000 Education Travel Award open to dermatology residents or pediatric dermatology fellows who present cases or posters at the Society for Pediatric Dermatology (SPD) Annual Meeting. To be considered, submissions must be high-quality abstracts focused on pediatric dermatology education, workforce, Medical Home or collaboration with pediatrician partners. The award presentation takes place during the annual July SPD meeting.
