Health Fair Kit
Exhibitors
- Consider potential exhibitors carefully. Make sure they are compatible with the overall
objectives of your fair. Try to include balance and variety when choosing exhibitors. Don't station
competing exhibitors near each other.
- Tap into local resources for potential exhibitors. Approach health professionals, your
local and state health departments, community groups, libraries, police and fire departments,
school PTAs, YMCAs, and health clubs to see if they have health or safety information and
resources. Your fair can be a great place to educate people about these issues. Broad
representation of the community sends a clear message that health education and improvement
is everyone's concern.
- Contact national health organizations (e.g. American Academy of Pediatrics).
They may be able to provide you with materials to distribute. They might also have a local chapter
in your area that would be interested in participating in your health fair as an exhibitor.
