Vaccine Safety

Immunizations protect children. Vaccine-preventable diseases can have dangerous consequences, including seizures, brain damage, blindness and even death. The recommended childhood immunization schedule is designed to protect children when they are most vulnerable. The American Academy of Pediatrics has assembled resources to answer common questions about vaccine research, the vaccine schedule and vaccine ingredients. If you have questions about your child’s vaccines, it’s best to discuss them with your child’s pediatrician.
