Supplies and Support Services
The division provides chapters with many support services upon request for medium, large and very large chapters at cost and to small chapters at no charge. Supplies and services include envelopes, stationary, business cards, meeting notices, elections/ballots and dues billing. Contact the Division of Chapter and District Relations (X7649) for the free services for small chapters.

Chapter Connections Chapter Connections is a quarterly publication that shares innovative chapter programs as well as timely association management topics with chapter officers and staff. The publication includes key administrative updates as well as chapter activities and information relevant to all chapters. This newsletter is posted to the Chapters area on the Members Only Channel (MOC) of the AAP Web site.

Chapter Manual The Chapter Manual is intended to assist chapter officers and executive directors with the various duties and responsibilities to effectively manage their chapters. As the manual now will be accessed primarily as an online tool, it includes information on the AAP’s Agenda for Children for fiscal year 2009-2010, a chapter devoted to chapter governance, information on the new IRS 990 form, sample executive director job descriptions, and much more! You can also access electronic "templates" which can be tailored to best meet chapter needs

Chapter Meetings Chapters sponsor several different types of meetings depending upon how they are structured. Most chapters sponsor annual and spring meetings where educational and networking opportunities are available to chapter members. Some chapters sponsor continuing medical education (CME) courses ranging from one to two day courses that offer category 1 credit.
