Chapter Awards

The Division of Chapter and District Relations assists in the administration of three national awards for chapter excellence: the Outstanding Chapter Awards, Awards of Chapter Excellence, and Special Achievement Awards.

  • The Outstanding Chapter Awards recognize chapters for excellence in programs that promote the health and welfare of children and are presented in four categories: small chapter, medium chapter, large chapter and very large chapter.

  • The Awards of Chapter Excellence, similar to the Outstanding Chapter Awards, recognize excellence in programs that advance the welfare of children but are awarded to chapters that do not qualify for the latter award.

  • Finally, the Special Achievement Awards recognize outstanding AAP work of individuals or chapter achievements accomplished in the previous years.
