Through the reimbursement campaign, the AAP is advocating at every level of the physician payment plan – in the public and private sectors for appropriate, adequate reimbursement for pediatric services. Community Access to Child Health (CATCH) grants assist pediatricians in using their own community's resources to lift barriers to chid health care. This program empowers pediatricians to provide primary care to children with special needs or whose families are homeless, have little or no insurance, or are Medicaid insured. PEDIATRICS is one of the most widely cited journals in pediatric literature, providing substantial and timely information, and gives pediatricians a forum for presenting their latest research findings.
