SWIMMING POOL SAFETY VIDEO PACKAGE
More than 900 children under the age of 15 drowned in swimming pools in 2002. In addition, nearly 2,700 children suffered from near-drownings that year, many of which resulted in permanent brain damage. To help prevent these tragedies, AAP Communications has produced a video news release (VNR) about swimming pool safety. In addition to the VNR, the video package includes English and Spanish sound bites with Deborah Mulligan, MD, FAAP and B-roll (background footage) of kids swimming in a pool, visuals of a fence and graphic of AAP multiple layers of protection.
