2007 PREP Enrollment

Developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Pediatrics Review and Education Program (PREP The Curriculum®) is your essential pediatric education program. PREP The Curriculum® provides a broad foundation of knowledge, allowing you to meet your educational needs and, thus, provide optimal health care for children.

Join over 30,000 pediatric professionals who choose PREP® The Curriculum as their preferred way to complete their continuing medical education credits, study for the Pediatric Maintenance of Certification™ (MOC) exam, and engage in lifelong learning.

The Academy's PREP The Curriculum® is a learning system developed annually by pediatric experts. The curriculum is based on the American Board of Pediatrics' (ABP) content specifications, which are the focus of the Board's Program for Maintenance of Certification (MOC)™.

PREP The Curriculum® leads subscribers through a structured, sequential, year-long learning activity that covers the full range of knowledge every pediatric professional should know. Offered in a variety of formats and options (see enrollment form), PREP The Curriculum® is the perfect way for professionals in pediatric practice to assess their knowledge, identify areas for further study and measure their progress, complete a self-assessment, update their knowledge, and earn Continuing Medical Education credits. PREP The Curriculum® is specifically designed to address the vast majority of the ABP's content specifications over any 5 year period. It serves as an excellent resource for providing patient care, preparing for examinations and developing comprehensive educational materials.

The Academy also offers a convenient and efficient way for AAP members and subscribers to access PediaLink™, the online CME home of the Academy, to keep track of their Continuing Medical Education credits. CME credits are posted in the transcript section of the site giving members and PediaLink™ subscribers 24 hour access to their records. Other professionals will receive CME certificates upon request. Members and subscribers to PediaLink™ who have subscribed to PREP The Curriculum® or PREP Self-Assessment only can conveniently access the current year's Self-Assessment online.

PREP The Curriculum is supported, in part, by an educational grant from Abbott Nutrition, a division of Abbott Laboratories.
