Brief Motivational Interviewing to Reduce Body Mass Index Study (BMI²)

Funding:	Support for BMI² is provided by the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute. The Pediatric Research in Office Settings (PROS) network also receives core funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration Maternal and Child Health Bureau and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Participation:	Recruitment of practices is closed. Training sessions for study participants were held in Baltimore, June 5-7th and in Chicago, August 7-9th, 2009.
Data Collection:	Patient enrollment began Fall 2009.
