Secondary Sexual Characteristics in Girls (SSCIG)

Protocol Overview

This study describes the age of onset of secondary sexual characteristics in girls ages 3 through 12 years seen in practice.

Training was provided to ensure accuracy of ratings of breast and public hair developement according to the staging of Tanner.

Practitioner needed to conduct a visual examination and record height, weight, and Tanner stage of breast and public hair development and whether the girl had reached menarche.
