Adolescent Smoking Cessation in Pediatric Primary Care |
Status:
Funding: Support for Smoking Cessation in Pediatric Primary Care study is provided by a grant from the National Cancer Institute. The Pediatric Research in Office Settings Network also receives core funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration Maternal and Child Health Bureau. Protocol: The protocol has been finalized. Participation: PROS practitioners will begin receiving study recruitment information in Fall 2006. The goal is to recruit up to 20 practices and 100 providers. The practice must not need to receive local Institutional Review Board approval (the short length of the study does not include enough time for practices to receive local IRB approval).
Data Collection: Main study data collection to begin in late 2006.
