Reading Tips
Parents and caregivers can make reading with children a part of the daily routine. Here are some additional suggestions for making reading together a pleasurable experience.

Booklists
The single most important activity for building the knowledge required for eventual success in reading is reading aloud to children. Below are some booklists to help get you started.

Child Literacy Studies
There are 11 studies that show when pediatricians promote literacy according to the Reach Out and Read (ROR) model, there is significant effect on parental behavior, beliefs, and attitudes towards reading aloud, as well as improvements in the language scores of children receiving the intervention.
