The application deadline for the "Celebration of Pediatric Pulmonology 2008" has now passed .

The American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Pediatric Pulmonology (SOPPu) would like to offer an exciting opportunity for pulmonology fellows to attend "Celebration of Pediatric Pulmonology," co-sponsored by the AAP Section on Pediatric Pulmonology and the American College of Chest Physicians. The travel grant will include airfare, complimentary course registration, three days lodging, meals (not to exceed $65 per day), and ground transportation to the meeting location (car rental will not be reimbursed.) The total amount of award is not to exceed $1200.

Award recipients will be selected through a lottery system, it is not required that the fellow be a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, however, only one fellow per training program can be awarded the grant. The award recipients will be required to present a brief (5-10 minute) case presentation during the course and submit a brief abstract for the Section newsletter.
