The Academy's TFOFC is delighted to support this project. We have assembled a Project Resource Kit to assist your Chapter with its systems building efforts. This resource kit contains useful information to assist your state team as you make plans to develop systems of health care in your state.
The resources include a checklist of things to consider when designing a successful system, examples from states that have created successful health systems for children in foster care, information on the medical needs of youth in care, Medical Home information, some basic information on building systems, relevant AAP policy statements for reference, and examples of successful legislation.
This resource kit is available to any Chapter that wants it; however please check for updates since it is a “work in progress.”
