The National Committee on Bioethics identifies bioethical issues within the field of pediatrics, advises the Board of Directors and the Washington office staff on the ethical implications of policies and legislative proposals, and works with the Bioethics Secion and the Committee on Continuing Medical Education to determine specific needs for topics and speakers on bioethics.

The site includes a resource center, updates on campaign activities, current news on end-of-life issues, reports on palliative care, family needs, service providers, education and training.

Innovations in End-of-Life Care is an international peer-reviewed journal and on-line forum highlighting promising practices that improve end-of-life care.
