Section on Perinatal Pediatrics Membership (AAP Members)

The Section welcomes new and thanks existing members for their interest and involvement in the Section on Perinatal Pediatrics' activities and programs. The following AAP members are eligible for Section Membership: Fellows, Specialty Fellows, Post-Residency Training Fellows, Candidate Fellows, Honorary Fellows, Emeritus Fellows, Life Fellows, Corresponding Fellows, and Dual Fellows. Applicants must submit completed application and any necessary fees.

Trainee Membership

HOW TO JOIN

The application process differs by category. To join, just follow the steps listed for the group that applies to you.

AAP MEMBERS

1) Link to the Section Membership Application via the AAP Member Center

2) Log into the Member Center using your AAP ID# and password

3) Under Member Community (upper left), click on Join a Section

4) Complete the form and click the ‘Submit’ button at the bottom

5) You will receive an invoice for the $75 Section membership fee

AAP NON-MEMBERS

Non-Members Eligible for Full AAP Membership

Individuals eligible for full Academy membership must join the Academy in order to join the Section on Perinatal Pediatrics. This is accomplished by the following process:

1) Complete the AAP membership application

2) Add Perinatal Pediatrics on the blank Section/Council line in the payment portion of the application

3) Add the $75 fee for Section membership

4) Provide payment information and click the ‘Submit’ button at the bottom of the page

Non-Members Eligible for Affiliate Membership

Individuals who qualify for affiliate membership can join the Section by completing the application for membership. The process is as follows:

1) Complete the Section Affiliate Membership Application

2) Check the ‘I am applying for affiliate membership in the Section on Perinatal Pediatrics' button

3) Print application, sign and send along with payment or payment information to the address indicated on the application

TRAINEES

AAP Trainee Members

1) Access the Section Membership Application via the AAP Member Center.

2) Log in to the Member Center using your AAP ID# and password

3) Under Member Community (upper left), click on Join a Section

4) Complete the online AAP Section/Council application and

5) Provide payment information and click the ‘Submit’ button at the bottom of the page

Trainees Lacking AAP Membership

Post-residency trainees must become AAP members to join the Section. To do this:

1) Complete the Post-Residency Trainee AAP Membership Application

2) Add Perinatal Pediatrics in the blank Section/Council space at the bottom of the page

3) Add the $75 fee for Section membership (Exception: 3rd year Neonatal-Perinatal trainees pay no membership fee)

4) Provide payment information and click the ‘Submit’ button at the bottom of the page
