Comprehensive programs for physically and sexually abused children and their families are under the Programs for Children at Risk. The Team for Children at Risk (TCAR), an evidentiary team, includes physicians, nurse practitioner, part-time psychologist, and masters level social workers. The physicians and nurse practitioner perform outpatient forensic evaluations of sexually abused children. Family assessments are provided by the social workers, and all the professionals provide crisis intervention. The TCAR also provides consultations on all hospitalized physically and sexually abused children. The Family Treatment Program provides long-term treatment of within family child sexual abuse cases. Therapy is delivered by multidisciplinary team of pscyhologists and social workers. The Adolescent Sexual Adjustment Project (ASAP) provides treatment for children and adolescents with sexual behavior disorders.
