This listing of medical
diagnostic child abuse programs was developed by the AAP Section
on Child Abuse and Neglect in 1994 in response to requests for
medical programs that practitioners can use for referral. The Section offers no recomendations
nor endorsements of any of these programs. Responsibility lies
with the referent to see that a particular program matches their
patient's needs.
We hope
to update the list yearly. Those medical programs wishing to
be included, should send a one paragraph description of the
program along with the name of the program and medical director,
address, phone, fax and e-mail to Tammy Piazza Hurley, Manager
at thurley@aap.org.
