2005 Outstanding Achievement Award in the Application
of Epidemiologic Information in Child Health Advocacy
Young Juhn, MD, MPH, FAAP
Young J. Juhn, MD, MPH, FAAP has been a faculty member in the
Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine at Mayo Clinic
College of Medicine for six years. He received his MD from Inje
University School of Medicine, South Korea, and completed his
pediatric residency training at Hurley Medical Center, a Michigan
State University-affiliated hospital. Dr. Juhn completed a General
Academic Pediatric Fellowship under Drs. Eugene Shapiro, Paul
McCarthy, and Alvin Feinstein, as well as a Masters of Public
Health at Yale University. In 1999, he started his clinician
investigator career as faculty in the Department of Pediatric
and Adolescent Medicine at Mayo Clinic. His primary research
interest is asthma epidemiology.
