Council on Community Pediatrics' Awards

The Council on Community Pediatrics (COCP) is dedicated to promoting and acknowledging achievements in Community Pediatrics. To honor outstanding contributions in Community Pediatrics the COCP hosts an Annual Award Lunch each year at the National Conference and Exhibition for award recipients. Members of the COCP are encouraged to respond to the Call for Nominations and to join the Awards Lunch.

Awards
The COCP recognize leaders for the following Awards:

Calvin C J Sia Community Pediatrics Medical Home Leadership & Advocacy Award
Job Lewis Smith Award
Local Heroes Award
Outstanding Achievement in the Application of Epidemiologic Information to Child Health Advocacy (joint with the Section on Epidemiology)

How to Join:
If you are already a member of the AAP and would like to become a COCP member, join online by:
1. Go to http://www.aap.org/moc/indexEntry.cfm and login with your AAP ID and password.
2. Click on "Member Community".
3. Click on "Join a Section or Council" under Section, Council & Committee
Information.
4. Choose "Council on Community Pediatrics", answer a few questions, and click "Submit".
