Welcome...
Happy 50th, Section on Uniformed Services!
What better way to celebrate the 50 year legacy of the Section than at USPS? The annual Uniformed Services CME is a chance to share cutting edge Pediatrics, excellent scholarly activities, military unique aspects of patient care and professional duty, triservice networking, and FUN with old friends. Our colleagues from Wright Patterson Air Force Base delivered the goods! Lt Col Rick and his planning committee worked tirelessly for the last 2 years to provide a top notch program from 8 -11 March 2009 with exceptional learning topics, hands on workshop venues, and a gala in the War Museum in Indianapolis IN. We are so appreciative of their time, energy and expertise: Thank you!
See inside the Spring 2009 edition of the SOUS Newsletter for details of the USPS awards, research competitions, and activities. This newsletter brings with it, a goodbye to our Newsletter Editor, COL David Estroff, who is retiring and heading to Europe as a civilian provider with the Army. I want to express my appreciation to him on behalf of Section, and request a “European update’ at least once a year for all to read!.
On behalf of the Section, our sincere gratitude is extended to COL (ret.) John Pierce, who left no stone unturned in his quest to “tell the story” of the Section on Uniformed Services, for the Uniformed Services Year book, located on the History page of the web site.
