Medical students were first offered membership in the AAP just over eight years ago, and their role in the AAP is still evolving. We are very excited to be expanding the medical student role in the AAP with the relatively new AAP Medical Student Subcommittee of the AAP Section on Medical Students, Residents and Fellowship Trainees.

In December 2007, we selected the members of the Medical Student Subcommittee. This outstanding group of six medical students from across the nation worked with us on developing resources for both medical students and Pediatric Interest Groups.
