There are always opportunities for medical students interested in pediatrics to get involved in the AAP and the Resident Section.

One way is by becoming involved in the Medical Student Subcommittee of the Resident Section. There are a total of 6 positions on this subcommittee. The main responsibilities revolve around website development, education and opportunities, and networking. Each fall new positions become available.

Another way to find out what’s happening both nationally and locally is to contact your District Coordinator (DC) or Assistant District Coordinator (ADC). To find out what district you are and the contact information for your DC/ADC click on your state below:
