Your AAP Chapter

Academy chapters are organized groups of pediatricians and other health care professionals working to achieve AAP goals in their communities.

It is important for young physicians to be a part of their local chapter.

Young physicians should:

  1. Make sure you are a member of your chapter.  Click on map below to find your chapter contacts.
  2. Go to Chapter Meetings.  A list can be found at http://www.aap.org/member/chapters/calendar/index.cfm
  3. Contact your chapter president and let her/him know that you are interested in the work of the chapter and ask how you can get involved.
  4. Contact other young physicians in your chapter to network.  Your chapter's executive director can help you here.  Contact your chapter’s executive director through the map.

For more information about chapters, please log in to the AAP Member Center and go to http://www.aap.org/moc/chapters/index.cfm
