Each year, the Section seeks nominees to run for election to the Young Physician’s Executive Committee. 

The Section looks for young physician section members (not currently serving on the executive committee) to serve on the NOMINATIONS COMMITTEE to review the nominees and select the candidates for the ballot.

Staff at the AAP performs much of the legwork regarding these elections.  The nominations committee members’ job is to:

Identify candidates for the ballot
Approve the ballot
Inform candidates of the election results.
