At a time when managed care is becoming commonplace throughout the health care delivery system, pediatricians need to assess their practices and determine how to position them for success. Pediatricians also need current and timely guidance on providing child health care in the office setting. The Division responds to practice management queries on issues such as starting a practice, medical records, office design, valuing a practice, selling a practice, selecting consultants, and developing job descriptions, to name a few.
