The students were quite intrigued with the course and asked a lot of questions.  We taught Curz Verde volunteers - these are basic trained ambulance drivers who routinely drive women to the hospital from the local 'waiting houses' and often have to deliver a baby in the ambulance.

The students were physicians and nurses who are very excited about teaching this information to clinic nurses.  We taught both ECEB Provider and ECEB Facilitator Course.

This is a developing country but not one of the 75 able to receive equipment at a discount.  The Neonatalie full training kits were purchased at full price but training equipment was not available to give providers.  8 in attendance are to be trained as instructors.  We are hoping to receive a donation of equipment from someone are looking for a potential donor since the incomes here do not allow paying of full price for the equipment.  The course was well received and the new instructors are very anxious to teach others and feel that there is a great need for this information in El Salvador, particularly outside of the big cities.
