  3. Explain complex genetic concepts in an easy and understandable manner
  4. Identify the features in the patient’s physical examination, medical history (including labs and radiographic findings), or family history that might suggest a genetic condition
  5. Identify the role of the primary care clinician and the role of the medical home in the management of patients with genetic conditions
  6. Recognize how to access current information on genetic diseases, as well as family appropriate information on diagnosed genetic conditions
