Description

Disinformation about child and adolescent vaccines that originates and spreads online harms public health and contributes to vaccine hesitancy. Pediatricians are confronted with this disinformation daily both online in social media and in person when families bring the information to health care visits. Without the strategies and tactics to diffuse the misinformation, clinicians encounter challenges in routine vaccine administration.

This content was recorded Jun 21, 2022 during a live session. It is intended to provide pediatric clinicians and their teams with an understanding of how childhood vaccines originate and spread online and contribute to vaccine hesitancy. The course includes the latest research on vaccine messaging and practical takeaways to support them as they engage with families in vaccine conversations both online and in person.
