Format
The main goals of this course are to provide professionals with the knowledge and skills to appropriately and efficiently document the medically necessary information for the evaluation and management (E/M) of a patient in the office-based setting and then to select the corresponding CPT code level using the new 2021 guidelines. Acquiring the knowledge and skills for efficiently documenting in the patient’s medical record and accurately assigning a CPT code for the office visit leads to reduced documentation burden, improved coding accuracy and reduced risk for audits. These changes only affect codes 99201-99215.

Payment of $15 for NAPNAP members and nonmembers is required via credit card for all NAPNAP contact hour requests. Keep this certificate for your records for six (6) years.
