The Women's Wellbeing through Equity and Leadership project (WEL) is a collaborative effort to engage a diverse group of early- to mid-career women physicians in networking, mentorship, and training around wellbeing, equity and leadership. The purpose of the Women’s Wellbeing through Equity and Leadership project (WEL) is to contribute to building healthier, more equitable work experiences for women physicians. The 2024-2025 WEL cohort is comprised of a multispecialty group of 30 physicians across 10 organizations. Components of WEL include:

  • 15 month training curriculum
  • Sequential sessions on Wellbeing, Equity, and Leadership- including 3-4 webinars and a 2 day virtual summit
  • 1:1 mentor pairing with sponsoring association members
  • WEL consortium physician reach of 851,859
