Council membership is open to the following member types:

  • Specialty Fellows

Dues/year:

All accepted national member types - $25
Council Affiliates - $60
(*in addition to national dues)

Special Requirements: Members agree to express an interest in and commitment to enhancing their own ability and the ability of others to improve healthy mental and emotional development through development of collaborations and sharing of experiences, strategies, successes, and failures.

Council affiliate membership

  1. Licensed physicians, Allied Health professionals, child health professionals, family or community leaders, or others who are not eligible for membership in the Academy and 1) have relevant certification or experience 2) hold a professional role in some aspect of healthy mental and emotional development, 3) are interested in contributing towards the objectives of the Council.
  2. Physicians who practice medicine in another country and do not qualify for National Membership will be considered on an individual basis by the Council Executive Committee. 

Affiliates must submit the following with their application:

  • A copy of their current license, degree, or certification, if applicable
  • Letter or e-mail from a member or professional who can confirm their relevant experience
  • Curriculum vitae / resume
