Andrew Garner, MD, PhD, FAAP is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University and has practiced primary care pediatrics with University Hospitals Medical Practices in Cleveland since 2000. Dr. Garner is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), having served as the President of the Ohio Chapter and as a member of the Academy’s Leadership Workgroups on Epigenetics, Poverty, and Early Brain and Child Development. Dr. Garner is the co-author the Academy’s Policy Statement on Childhood Toxic Stress, and he co-authored an AAP-published book, Thinking Developmentally: Nurturing Wellness in Childhood to Promote Lifelong Health.
