Applicants are strongly encouraged to contact their CATCH District Resident Liaison (DRL) or Chapter CATCH Facilitator(CCF) for feedback and support to strengthen their proposal. Canadian applicants are encouraged to seek feedback and support by contacting CATCH staff at [email protected].

  • Learn more about the assistance that is available.
  • Register for our Applicant Office Hours on November 4th, November 20th, and December 8th to receive feedback and support for developing your application.
  • Request feedback and support from the CATCH Network -- CATCH District Resident Liaison (DRL) or Chapter CATCH Facilitator (CCF)  and CATCH Staff--early in the application process.  The CATCH application is meant to be a learning experience and assistance can be provided for each of the steps of the application process.
  • As the CATCH network are volunteer leaders, the deadline to initiate a request for feedback and support is Friday, January 9, 2026.
  • Application and budget reviews also are available from CATCH staff.
  • Note: Applicants are awarded additional credit during the review process for receiving assistance from liaison(s), facilitator(s) and staff.
  • Applications are blinded and peer-reviewed by AAP District and Chapter CATCH Facilitators and District CATCH Resident Liaisons.

A variety of resources are available in the Proposal Development Resources section.  Key documents that should be reviewed by all applications are the Call for Proposals (Residents, Planning, and Implementation) and the CATCH Application Questions summary (which allow you to work offline and share drafts for feedback and support during the application process).

For descriptions of previously awarded CATCH grants visit our Community Pediatrics Funded Projects List. Criteria may change from year to year, so please contact your CATCH District Resident Liaison(s), Chapter CATCH Facilitator, or CATCH staff before modeling your proposal on a past grant.
