Dues/year:

Medical Students, Residents and Fellowship Trainees - $0*
all other accepted National member types - $30*
Council Affiliates - $60

Council affiliate membership

  1. Physicians not eligible for AAP National membership.
  2. Non-physician personnel (e.g. nurses, nurse practitioners, physical and occupational therapists, speech/language pathologists, psychologists and social workers) not eligible for National AAP membership.​

Affiliate applicants must submit:

  1. Two letters of support from AAP Fellows (one letter must be from a Fellow member of the Council on Foster Care, Adoption & Kinship Care) that document the applicant’s clinical or research interest in the medical/developmental/mental health aspects of adoption and/or foster care.
  2. Copy of current CV
  3. Copy of license in the relevant profession.
