Each year, the Section on Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics convenes a live 3-4 hour Section program during the Academy National Conference & Exhibition. The first portion of the program program consists of a pediatric therapeutics update covering selected new medications approved for use in children as well as older medications with new labeling resulting from additional pediatric studies and/or post-marketing surveillance.

Time is scheduled throughout the program for attendees to engage faculty and other participants in group discussion. The section also cosponsors a variety of sessions offered during the National Conference & Exhibition that address elements of drug safety, discovery, and prescribing.

For information regarding the SOCPT annual program, see the AAP National Conference Planner.
